Virtualization and Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a skilled Virtualization and Windows/Linux Administrator to join our Hybrid Platform Engineering team.
About the JobThis is a hands-on role that requires extensive experience administering on-premises Linux and/or Windows systems on virtualization platforms, including SAN and storage solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing system administration and troubleshooting in accordance with company policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing both Unix (Linux and/or AIX) and Windows servers, with expert-level knowledge in at least one area, covering installation, configuration, security, networking, storage, patching, and hardening.
Experience working in Virtualization environments and practical experience administering SAN and related storage technologies are also required.
A strong analytical, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
Requirements- Possess a degree in Information Technology or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in a similar hands-on role.
- Expert-level knowledge in at least one area, covering installation, configuration, security, networking, storage, patching, and hardening.
- Experience working in Virtualization environments.
- Practical experience administering SAN and related storage technologies.
- Proficient in scripting and automation using Python and Ansible for provisioning and managing dynamic infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure components including virtualization technologies, storage, networking, internet protocols, operating systems, scripting and monitoring tools, and IT security.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, and related tools is preferred.
