Job Overview:

The successful candidate will lead the contract administration and liaison with project managers and all relevant project staff on contractual matters.

This includes extension of time, contractual claims, variations, and any related loss and expense claims to the client and/or assessing and reviewing of extension of time, variations, and any related loss and expense claims by sub-contractors.

They will also provide contractual advisory services to ensure management, project managers, and all relevant project staff comply with contract obligations and procedures.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Discuss, draft, review and negotiate the terms and conditions of contracts with clients, consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  • Responsible for overall contract administration, including identification and advisory of contractual risks, proposal of measures to mitigate these risks, and well-versed in PSSCOC, REDAS, SIA contractual legislations, and SOP Act.
  • Deal with disputes on contractual matters amicably with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and prepare contract documentation and agreements, as well as provide support in drafting contractual/dispute letters.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Contract Law, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in contract management for the construction industry.
