Product Launch Specialist

This position involves working in a high-precision manufacturing environment to oversee product launches, process improvements, and technical guidance. The ideal candidate will have experience in rubber molding operations, New Product Development/Introduction (NPD/NPI), Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure smooth transitions of new products to full-scale manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless product development and deployment.
- Lead process validation, testing, and continuous improvement projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and what-if analysis for new product introductions.
- Design and refine products for manufacturability, performance, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain production process documentation, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years' manufacturing engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of NPD/NPI, DFM, and FMEA.
- Skilled in process optimisation, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiar with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949) and experienced in feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and risk management.
- Excellent troubleshooting, project management, and collaboration skills.
