Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality control system to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to guarantee adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee quality control processes, encompassing inspection of incoming and outgoing spare parts, and ensuring that service repair work from internal teams and external vendors meets established standards and specifications.
  • Manage and maintain controlled quality documentation, including work instructions, quality manuals, inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) records, to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
  • Accountable for preparing and authorizing Certificates of conformance (CoC) for all services performed in MRO, such as verification, repairs, and spare parts deliverables.
  • Lead warranty assessments, collaborate closely with customers to address quality concerns, and resolve issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, including root cause analysis.
  • Develop and manage a calibration schedule for all measuring, monitoring, and hoisting equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Support internal audits, quality metrics tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems, utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and potential quality issues, developing strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality standards into all processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, ASQ CQE) is a plus.
  • Occasional overseas travel is required.
