Job Title:
Supply Chain SpecialistThe Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components required for manufacturing. The role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Purchasing and Logistics: Ensure smooth purchasing and logistics operations, monitor on-time delivery of materials and components, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices and lead times, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Purchase Order Management: Create, track, and manage purchase orders, ensure accurate inventory management, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, identify and mitigate stockouts or overstocking, and optimize inventory turnover.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports on procurement metrics, analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide insights to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications.
