Job Description

This is a KYC Checker and Maker role that involves performing KYC reviews, ensuring documentation compliance with local regulations and company standards.

You will be responsible for monitoring and tracking KYC records, assisting in the development and execution of action plans for expiring records, and ensuring records are not past due.

You will also highlight any suspicious product usage from an AML perspective to senior management for further review.

You will assist the company on KYC efforts in accordance with CBSU AML KYC Ops procedures.

You will determine if accounts are in scope, perform client identification, verification, and screening, as well as validate customer information such as address, employment, and connectivity to PEP/SPF.

You will partner with internal units to ensure adequate due diligence processes are carried out for customer accounts and documentation reviews.

You will send requests to outreach teams for accounts where information is required to complete the review.

You will maintain quality standards (90% and above) for the KYC reviews undertaken.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of relevant experience and a background in AML. Multilingual skills, especially Mandarin and Cantonese, are an advantage as there may be regular liaison with the Hong Kong office.
