Job Title: Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned mechanical project engineer to oversee equipment installation and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, procurement, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project scope, schedules, and budgets for successful project execution.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Technical Expertise: Review PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications to guarantee compliance and quality.
  • Schedule Management: Manage changes in project scope, budget, or timeline, ensuring effective communication and documentation.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop maintenance scope, job specification, resources, and timeline for turnaround maintenance.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Reliability Engineering: Establish, improve, and execute the company's maintenance management system for optimal equipment reliability and availability.
  • Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate maintenance records for data analysis and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to eliminate equipment/system defects and implement corrective measures.
  • Downtime Reduction: Work with operators and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
  • Cost Optimization: Optimize maintenance and project costs while ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance plant performance.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical project engineering.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, procurement, and construction.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
