Job Title: Employee Relations Director

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Director to join our team at People Profilers Pte Ltd. This is a senior role that requires substantial expertise in workplace relations, employee contracts, performance management, and labour-management relations.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement people-focused policies, procedures, and solutions that align with legislation and best practices.
  • Counsel and support managers in effectively addressing employee relations issues and maintaining positive, productive employee relationships.
  • Represent the organisation in negotiations, mediations, and conciliations with unions, regulatory bodies, and other external parties.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving employment laws, industry trends, and best practices, and provide proactive advice to the business.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's people management systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Substantial experience (15 years) in a senior workplace relations/employee relations role, preferably within a large, complex organisation with over 500 headcount.
  • Thorough understanding of industrial relations, employment law, and best practices in people management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially-focused advice.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful employee relations strategies and initiatives.
