Job Title: Senior Audit Leader

In this role, you will oversee the audit process for multiple entities, ensuring that all audits are conducted with the highest level of quality and accuracy.

You will work closely with internal audit teams to review and monitor their activities, ensuring they operate within established frameworks and methodologies. Additionally, you will support risk-based supervision and enhance collaboration across entities to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate pre-consultations and approvals for group companies on audit-related matters.
  • Review risk assessment and annual audit plans to ensure alignment with SMFG/SMBC risk and audit standards.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities for local audit functions and provide guidance on corrective action plans.
  • Provide training and advisory services to group company auditors on audit methodology and risk assessment processes.
  • Conduct or participate in joint audits as required by IADAP framework requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives for internal audit within the group.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in auditing and a proven track record of leadership. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
