Job Overview
The role of an Assistant Dog Trainer involves delivering exceptional care and training to dogs in a nurturing environment.

This is a fulfilling position for individuals who are passionate about animal welfare and enjoy providing top-notch care to our canine students. You will be responsible for teaching basic and advanced skills using positive reinforcement methods, creating a safe and clean environment, and interacting with and supervising dogs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a safe and healthy environment for dogs
- Providing training and socialization for dogs using positive reinforcement methods
- Delivering high-quality care for dogs, including feeding, walking, and administering medication as needed
- Interacting with and supervising dogs during playtime
- Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and pet care

Requirements:
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals
- Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays when required
- Willingness to learn and apply positive reward-based training methods
- Minimum Diploma in any field from a recognized education institution
- Higher learning in Psychology, Education, or Veterinary Technology is an advantage
- Prior experience working with animals, preferably in a daycare or boarding facility setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and detail-oriented individual
- Comfortable with being active and on the feet throughout the day
- Animal lover with excellent people skills
