Senior Environmental Strategy Manager

As a key contributor within the Sustainability Office, you will play a vital role in advancing Singapore's aviation sector to ensure its long-term viability as a leading air hub.
Your responsibilities will include managing and coordinating initiatives related to aviation environmental stewardship, as well as facilitating the creation and execution of sustainability frameworks addressing both domestic airport emissions and international aviation impacts.
Key Responsibilities:You will assess global aviation patterns and keep abreast of significant environmental trends to enhance and execute CAAS' sustainability agenda. Additionally, you will harmonize policy perspectives across various CAAS departments and collaborate with other governmental entities addressing environmental matters.
Your role will also involve evaluating and providing insights on critical aviation environmental topics discussed at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and regional organizations such as ASEAN.
Collaboration with aviation stakeholders will be essential in supporting the formulation and execution of these policies.
Qualifications:To excel in this position, you should possess strong interpersonal abilities to engage with stakeholders on aviation and environmental challenges. You should demonstrate robust analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret underlying trends and developments from both structured and unstructured data sources.
A keen interest in international relations and climate change issues related to aviation is also important.
Desired Background:- Degree in Environmental Studies/Sciences, Business, Economics, or Geography is preferred.
- Relevant experience in environmental or aviation sectors is advantageous.
- Team-oriented with exceptional verbal, written communication, and analytical capabilities.
- Self-driven and capable of thriving in a dynamic work environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for work-related purposes.
