Research Faculty Position in Digital Bioengineering

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join its faculty as an Assistant Professor with a research focus in Digital Bioengineering.

Candidates should have a well-defined research vision, an outstanding track record of publications in top journals, and the ability to develop innovative, internationally visible, and extramurally funded research programs.

Responsibilities include developing a research program innovating and applying computational and artificial intelligence (AI) methods to addressing fundamental and translational challenges in biomedical engineering.

Applicants should have expertise in fields related to biomedical data science, including but not limited to computational and systems biology, omics technologies, bioinformatics, biostatistics, AI for therapeutics design, and other relevant disciplines.

Special consideration will be given to candidates with a well-defined research vision to translate their data-driven analytic approaches into diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for major human diseases.

Applicants are also expected to teach related topics at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including mentoring and supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.
