We are seeking a Fixed Income Portfolio Specialist to join our team in Singapore. This role will provide support for portfolio management activities and work closely with the Global Bond Team.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Traders to execute investment strategies across client portfolios.
- Rebalance portfolios in response to investment strategies, cash flows, benchmark changes, market price movements and client guidelines.
- Monitor positions and verify transactions against client guidelines.
- Improve processes and minimize operational risks by interacting with various areas of the firm.
- Monitor performance, risk exposures and key market sensitivities of portfolio positions.
- Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous asset management industry experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of fixed income capital markets and investing.
- Advanced analytical skills, quantitative orientation and detail-oriented mindset.
- Proficient programming skills in Python is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with investment professionals.
- Ability to think creatively and initiate projects that improve strategy implementation.
- Strong academic credentials with an undergraduate degree required.
- A post-graduate degree or relevant professional qualification would be viewed favorably.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
