Machine Performance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Machine Performance Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for improving machine yield and quality by analyzing issues, implementing corrective actions, and providing timely engineering support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze machine issues and customer complaints to identify root causes.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve machine performance.
  • Provide timely engineering support in failure analysis and CAPA resolution.
Supporting Department Goals:
  • Participate and lead in project management teams to drive productivity improvement.
  • Provide technical expertise to employee teams and implement employee suggestions (Kaizen).
  • Enhance machine performance through process modification, simplification, and improvement.
Technical Support:
  • Provide timely support to resolve machine issues and minimize unplanned production downtime.
  • Manage and implement effective preventive maintenance programs.
  • Spare parts management to ensure optimal machine availability.
New Machine/ Product Start-up:
  • Assist in executing IQ, OQ & PQ validation.
  • Compile and prepare training materials, and conduct training to technicians and operators on machine operations.
  • Identify and evaluate alternative methods or technologies to improve machine performance.
Engagement with Engineers/Supervisors and Suppliers:
  • Exchange technical information and provide input on issues and proposals for resolution.
  • Evaluate purchase parts and request quotations from suppliers.
Qualifications:
  • NITEC (NTC/IIC) or equivalent diploma required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in machine operation and maintenance.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in key processes and equipment/machinery.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding of basic design of jigs and fixtures.
  • Good understanding of mechanical/electrical drawings and control systems (PLC).
  • A team player with good attitude and teamwork skills.
