About the Role

We are seeking an experienced musical theatre educator to join our team. As a musical theatre teacher, you will be responsible for teaching singing, acting, and dance to students of various ages and levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging and technically sound musical theatre classes incorporating singing, acting, and dance
  • Prepare students for Trinity Musical Theatre Examinations, showcases, and competitions
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Department to follow lesson plans and syllabus requirements
  • Choreograph routines and rehearse students for events and productions
  • Deliver constructive, confidence-building feedback to help students progress
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
Requirements
  • Professional experience in musical theatre performance
  • Strong teaching background with students of all ages and abilities
  • Proficiency in singing, acting, and dance instruction
  • Experience preparing students for graded examinations and stage performances
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills
  • Warm, encouraging, and passionate about arts education
  • Reliable, professional, and a strong collaborator
