Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Executive - Technical in New Car Logistics. As part of this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the PDI workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling complete automotive workshop operations
  • Working with other team leaders and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and meet management objectives
  • Performing pre-delivery inspections and quality checks according to manufacturer standards
  • Familiarity with the latest automotive developments, accessories installation, bodywork conversion, and PDI processes
  • Systematic and professional diagnosis of vehicles using diagnostic tools, methods, and facilities to determine causes of faults and their rectification
  • Providing training and guidance to technicians and leading teams to meet company requirements on timely delivery of new vehicles
  • Providing accurate technical advice and information whenever necessary
  • Performing final control checks and test drives to ensure satisfactory completion of jobs
  • Able to construct and present reports on workshop operations using Microsoft Office suite for reviews on operations

Requirements:

  • A minimum qualification of Diploma in Automotive Technology or related discipline
  • 5 years of relevant experience in automotive PDI operations
  • Minimally possess a valid Class 3 driving license. Class 2B, or Class 4/5 would be advantageous
  • Strong leadership capabilities to lead a team
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning
