Quality Assurance Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance professional to lead our quality initiatives. As a Quality Assurance engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- You will prepare and maintain Quality Management Systems procedures to ensure compliance with customers' specifications and procedures.
- You will plan and implement gauges and equipment calibration systems to maintain accuracy and reliability.
- You will conduct training on QMS and GD&T to ensure employees understand quality control procedures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring quality standards: SUPERVISING first article, incoming, in-process and final inspections and documentations.
- Resolving production issues: CONDUCTING relentless root cause analysis (RRCA) into production problems.
- Leading quality improvements: LEADING quality improvement projects to enhance our products and processes.
- Implementing statistical process control: IMPLEMENTING Statistical Process Control (SPC) on production processes to minimize defects.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A technical education in Production/Mechanical Engineering, preferably at diploma level.
- Working experience in precision manufacturing environments.
- Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
