Senior Web Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team and help us develop scalable web applications and services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building web applications and services, with experience working on MERN stack and/or Python. Additionally, they should have strong communication skills, be able to work collaboratively and weigh in on feasibility and timelines for feature development and milestones.

  • Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will design and implement scalable architectures to meet different use cases.
  • They will work with the QA team to create unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
  • They will take charge of existing codebases and help refactor them to meet standards where required.
  • The candidate will ensure proper documentation is maintained throughout the project.
  • They will align the team to the company's culture and demonstrate great teamwork abilities.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience building web applications and services.
  • 3-5 years of experience with MERN stack, Python is a plus.
  • Experience with production-grade deployment is a plus.
  • The ability to work collaboratively is essential.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to develop adaptive code that can keep up with new requirements is crucial.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary.
