Job Summary: Helius is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating highly scalable and reliable systems. Your main focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our services, resolving technical issues, and improving overall system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS and GCP
  • Design and operate monitoring environments for fault detection and capacity planning
  • Develop and operate tools for automation of operations such as CI/CD
  • Ensure security design and operation of service infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve system performance

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure and system reliability
  • Excellent Japanese language skills (N3 or higher)
  • Basic knowledge of networking and security principles
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with RDBMS including MySQL and RDS in production
  • Design and operational experience in system monitoring using tools such as Datadog and Bugsnag
  • Programming skills to add features and fix bugs in applications and middleware necessary for improving system performance and reliability
