Job Title: Global Trade Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Global Trade Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of customs regulations, HS codes, and international trade compliance requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Key Tasks:
  • - Handle import and export customs clearance in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • - Classify goods accurately using HS codes and calculate applicable duties and taxes.
  • - Prepare and verify all required shipping and customs documentation.
  • - Liaise with customs authorities to ensure timely clearance of goods.
  • - Submit permit applications for imports and exports through systems.
  • - Coordinate with government agencies to obtain necessary licenses or approvals.
  • - Ensure all shipments meet local and international trade compliance requirements.
  • - Work closely with internal departments to support logistics operations.
  • - Communicate with clients, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to provide shipment updates and resolve issues.
  • - Provide support to the deployment team by covering duties during colleagues' leave or absence.
  • - Maintain accurate records and support audits or inspections by customs or trade authorities.
  • - Stay up-to-date with customs laws, free trade agreements, and regulatory changes.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Essential Requirements:
  • - 5 working days per week (some flexibility is acceptable)
  • - Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office
  • - Good work ethics and positive working attitude
  • - Ability to handle pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • - Eye for details and ability to prioritize urgent tasks
