Business Intelligence Analyst Position

This role involves driving the development and implementation of IT service operations plans. The goal is to ensure successful introduction of IT solutions across the system, enabling effective monitoring and management.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining maintenance plans to monitor and manage IT systems. This ensures operational KPIs and SLAs are met. Performance against SLAs is also managed and reported on, with action plans developed to bring performance back on track when necessary.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will lead in managing IT service requests, incidents, and problems. They will guide and support the team in resolving escalations of issues or requests and make decisions as needed. Additionally, they will lead in the development, review, and recommendation of policies, processes, and SOPs for efficient and smooth running of IT systems to meet required compliance.

Process establishment, procedures, and communications planning are also executed by the Business Intelligence Analyst. User access reviews on IT systems are conducted in accordance with organizational standards and policy. Furthermore, the analyst will facilitate periodic summary status reports, service reviews, and detailed reviews of root cause analysis findings of IT service management when applicable.

Collaboration with Project Management Office and outsourced vendors is crucial for the successful transition of completed projects to maintenance phase. Support for IT audits and entity-wide IT compliance activities and planning is also provided. Managing outsourced partners and service providers ensures smooth operations of IT services.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will participate in strategic and budgetary planning. They will prepare and administer work unit operating budgets. Guidance and coaching to junior team members is also provided.
