Position Overview: Ecolab Application Engineer

We are seeking a committed professional to fulfill the role of an Ecolab Application Engineer. In this capacity, you will be tasked with implementing customized chemical treatment strategies for clients operating within the refinery and chemical processing sectors. Your primary objective will be to deliver efficient treatment solutions, provide enhanced services, and oversee projects aimed at minimizing the Total Cost of Operation (TCO) for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Chemical Treatment Initiatives: Execute chemical treatment initiatives at client locations to ensure peak operational efficiency.
  • Client Reporting and Communication: Deliver regular updates and reports to clients to keep them informed about project status and developments.
  • Inventory and Equipment Oversight: Manage chemical inventory and replacement parts for equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Monthly Performance Reviews: Compile detailed monthly reviews to evaluate program success and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Field Testing and Analysis: Perform on-site testing to diagnose and resolve any challenges within the chemical treatment strategy.
  • Proposal Formulation: Collaborate with management to create proposals that boost efficiency and meet client requirements.
  • Value-Added Initiatives: Identify and develop projects aimed at reducing the Total Cost of Operation for clients.
  • Client Relationship Development: Cultivate strong relationships with clients through consistent engagement and effective communication.
  • Subcontractor Management: Evaluate, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors to ensure effective service delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Credentials: A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Comfortable working with clients in the petrochemical sector.
  • Communication Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities are essential.
  • Reporting Skills: Capable of producing clear and concise reports using standard computing devices.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to think critically, apply common sense, and make sound decisions.
  • Multitasking Abilities: Proficient in troubleshooting issues, managing multiple projects, and adhering to project timelines.
  • Self-Driven and Collaborative: A self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a team environment.
  • Safety Compliance: Must adhere to safety protocols within the petrochemical industry.
  • Travel Requirements: This role may involve travel as necessary.
