Job Overview

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team as a Financial Analysis Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.

This role requires the ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and patterns, and develop effective solutions to drive business growth. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and at least one year of accounting experience. Experience working in an insurance-related or financial advisory firm in Singapore is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile all incoming commissions from insurers/providers and match them with the inception reports provided
  • Upload the correct report into the commission system to submit to payroll to make payments to the advisors on a bi-weekly basis
  • Attend to queries from advisors if need be, for any miscalculation of commission paid out
  • Handle firm's outgoing and incoming cash flow monthly - collection of invoices and work with the firm's external accounting firm to prepare the monthly report
Requirements:
  • A diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1 year of accounting experience (bonus if you've worked in the financial industry)
  • Experience of working in an insurance related or financial advisory firm in Singapore
  • Strong in analytical skill
