Accountant Job Description

Our accounting team is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our ranks. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing full sets of accounts, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.

  • Prepare complete and accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with year-end closing procedures and collaborate with auditors as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis for management review.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance accounting operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial reporting and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or higher.
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience in accounting.
  • Prior experience in accounts auditing is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Initiative-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
