About this role

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Cloud Technologist to spearhead our cloud capabilities and drive digital transformation within the organization.

As a key member of our CTO Office, you will play a strategic and cross-functional role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure.

You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge cloud technologies that align with our vision of becoming a cloud and AI powerhouse.

Your expertise will help us navigate the complexities of cloud computing, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously scan the market for bleeding-edge cloud technologies and engage with key technology partners to stay up-to-date on their latest developments.
  • Collaborate with professional services, presales, and managed services teams to assess the applicability of new technologies across the organization.
  • Shortlist and recommend technologies to develop into Proof of Concepts (POCs) and lead POC and R&D projects to completion, evaluating their adoption within business units.
  • Drive the adoption of viable technologies across the organization and its customer base.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, GCC).
  • Experience working in the corporate arm of an organization, with the ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and analytical mindset.
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing emerging technologies, managing vendor relationships, and driving change management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with AI, data platforms, digital transformation, enterprise architecture, cloud governance, and innovation management.
