Job Description

The Platform Insights team aims to deliver a unified data event platform that allows users to query, visualize, and analyze their data to optimize workflows within our organization.

We strive to create a consistent dashboard experience that makes it easy for users to ask pertinent questions and build rich, use-case-specific views.

The unified event platform will consume data from all stages, enabling users to monitor the health of their teams, processes, and services in a single view.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with a strong background in high-scale and data-rich Golang applications, as well as familiarity with distributed, scalable, and reliable systems.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Golang backend components leveraging high-scale data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
  • Write code that meets standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for high-scale web environments. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
  • Work with other teams to help integrate monitoring and insights features into their products.
  • Develop features and improvements to the product in a secure, well-tested, and performant manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Professional experience with Golang and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong database experience and interest in developing expertise in ClickHouse databases.
  • Experience with large-scale platforms or complex applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or internal tooling.
  • Knowledge of distributed, scalable, and reliable systems.
  • Experience with modern DevOps platforms (GitLab experience is a plus).
