Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Manage and maintain Progress production database and mirror database, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Application Development: Develop applications using 4GL programming tool in Progress environment, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Change Management: Implement and manage change management process to maintain program specification and process flow, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct program unit and integrated system testing to ensure programs developed meet production quality standards.
  • Helpdesk Support: Provide timely and effective support to users, addressing requests and issues promptly and professionally.
  • User Training: Conduct user training on new modules/programs released to users, ensuring seamless adoption and integration.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in design, development, and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning systems, preferably in MFG/Pro systems.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Progress database, Microsoft Windows, and Internet technologies; ability to manage multiple concurrent projects; excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills.
  • Specialized Skills: Experience/working knowledge of Progress 4th GL, System Development Life Methodologies, Change Management, and QAD ERP (Manufacturing).
