Manufacturing Operations Specialist
As a vital member of our production team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting manufacturing activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to process improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Environmental Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement environmental management strategies that minimize the facility's ecological footprint.
- Solution Analysis: Conduct periodic analysis of production solutions to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
- Process Parameters: Establish and regularly review process parameters (PMP) and FMEA to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Production Issues: Analyze and resolve production issues to improve quality and safety aspects, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
- Work Instructions: Develop and update work instructions to enhance productivity and quality, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Capacity Improvements: Drive production capacity improvements and cost-down projects to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Non-Conforming Products: Identify and contain non-conforming products to prevent customer impact and maintain a high level of quality.
- Production Stoppage: Arrange for production or shipment stoppage in case of major quality issues, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Report quality, environmental, water efficiency, and safety issues to internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers regarding production issues and projects, providing excellent communication and service.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong reputation and preventing reputational risk.
Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in engineering or a related field.
- Quality Systems: Strong understanding of quality and environmental systems, including ISO standards and best practices.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Positive Attitude: Positive work attitude with a willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to changing circumstances.
