Concrete Quality Control Specialist

Our company is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to conduct regular in-house testing and monitor concrete raw materials and product performance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, attending coordination meetings, inspecting equipment, proposing suitable materials and protection methods, carrying out mockup testing, installing monitoring devices, assessing concrete conditions, and advising on proper finishing and protection.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and attend coordination meetings for delivery and concreting arrangement
- Inspect equipment and propose suitable materials and protection methods for large concrete pour
- Carry out mockup testing and install monitoring devices on site to monitor concrete quality
- Assess concrete conditions (e.g. surface, temperature) and advise on proper finishing and protection for freshly cast concrete
- Collect and report real-time data to contractors at site; communicate corrective actions when necessary
- Investigate and resolve quality issues at batching plants and customer sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Material Science / Chemistry or equivalent
- Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply
- Familiar with the fundamentals of concrete properties, admixture technologies and applications
- Familiar with SSEN, ACI, ASTM, and BS/EN standards or specifications for Civil Engineering and concrete
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Able to work independently with a positive attitude to deliver within tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
