Job Title:

Trade Finance Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and prepare commercial agreements for sales and purchases.
  • Coordinate trade finance transactions, including irrevocable letters of credit, documentary collections, freight loans, export letters of credit, discounting, and remittance services.
  • Manage import and export letters of credit, amend them as required, and oversee master letter of credit facilities.
  • Prepare proforma invoices and shipping documents for banks or clients.
  • Monitor incoming payments and outgoing receipts, handle remittance transactions, and address banking operations matters.
  • Update bank facilities limits and utilization levels.
  • Assist in tracking daily and weekly cash flow movements.
  • Communicate with suppliers, buyers, bankers, and shipping brokers to facilitate trade finance operations.
  • Oversee credit facility utilization and track financial transactions.
  • Review new credit facilities and respond to banking inquiries.
  • Document and archive trade finance transactions.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP software.
  • Experience in trade finance, accounts payable, and receivable processes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
