As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional IT infrastructure services to clients. Your role will involve technical administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various IT infrastructure components, including storage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine administration tasks for storage systems, focusing on automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide installation, administration, and maintenance support for Storage Area Network (SAN) and Enterprise Backup solutions.
  • Regularly check the health of storage devices and monitor their performance to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Integrate storage solutions into client environments, ensuring seamless interoperability.
  • Regularly update firmware and maintain comprehensive documentation of storage solutions.
  • Develop and implement test plans in collaboration with clients to guarantee solution functionality.
  • Administer and manage Symantec or Commvault backup environments, including job configuration and scheduling.
  • Tune backup server performance and troubleshoot any backup-related issues.
  • Plan and execute capacity planning for tape libraries and backup servers.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures for critical systems and ensure successful rebuilds after each DR exercise.
  • Identify potential system enhancements and implement continuous improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification in Storage (SAN) and/or Backup Administration is required, with experience in a 24/7 enterprise setting.
  • Must be able to cover level 1 and level 2 storage-related problems and have expertise in EMC, Hitachi, and Huawei storage systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure support is necessary for this position.

  • Self-driven and effective in working independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and logic skills.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
  • Strong customer management skills.
