Cloud Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to lead the development and support of our next-generation cloud platform. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available OpenStack infrastructure and services across data centers.

Your primary focus will be on designing and managing scalable Red Hat OpenStack and OpenShift environments to provide robust public cloud services to enterprise customers. This involves working with containers, orchestration tools, and software-defined storage.

As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the cloud platform, you will be instrumental in architecting, upgrading, enhancing, and integrating key services and components. Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and deploying container-based applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, LXC, and LXD;
  • Automating container deployment and lifecycle management;
  • Supporting microservices-based architecture deployments and upgrades;
  • Building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code using Ansible for repeatable deployments, configuration management, and automation;
  • Participating in CI/CD pipeline creation and integration with cloud services;
  • Ensuring secure automation practices are implemented and documented.

Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and managing Ceph-based software-defined storage and optimizing storage provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting performance or availability issues.

Requirements:
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience with OpenStack cloud platform deployments and administration;
Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) and Red Hat OpenShift;
Experience with Linux OS administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu);
Proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, LXC/LXD;
Experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible;
Practical experience managing and scaling Ceph storage;
Understanding of cloud network concepts and virtualization platforms;
Solid experience in performance tuning, patch management, and upgrades.
