  • Compliance Reporting: Prepare and file compliance reports in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Compliance Consulting: Consult with internal and external legal departments to advise leadership and management on compliance matters.
  • Government Relations: Communicate with government agencies regarding compliance statuses, including strategic permit applications and renewals.
  • Compliance Communications: Prepare and present updates on company compliance processes to stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products, activities, documentation, and policies comply with industry, provincial, and federal regulations.
  • Procedure Development: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, records, and filing of compliance activities.
  • Compliance Data Management: Update company records for compliance-related data.
  • Compliance Issue Resolution: Identify, assess, and resolve compliance issues and irregularities, and violations.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Advise company leaders on compliance matters.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Certification: Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP) preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the field of compliance.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of laws, legal codes, procedures, and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, documenting and reporting skills, and attention to detail.
