At Alfa Laval, we're driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence. As a Marine Sales Professional, you'll play a key role in delivering profitable growth and securing customer satisfaction in the Marine Division.

Reporting to the Regional Aftersales Manager, you'll be responsible for formulating and driving a customer account strategy to encompass the complete long-term relationship between Alfa Laval and the customer. Your focus will be on analyzing market insights, understanding customer buying behavior, and making sales plans that align with the business division strategy and targets.

Key tasks will include:

  • Following established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval solutions in the Marine aftersales industry;
  • Analyzing market insights and customer buying behavior to make informed sales plans;
  • Managing leads from the market and customers to convert them into real business opportunities;
  • Being active in the market, making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers to understand their needs and highlight the value of our products and services;
  • Running operations by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools;
  • Developing customized proposals to meet customer requirements and advocating value-based selling to achieve performance.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Mechanical or Marine Engineering or related;
  • Minimum 3 solid years of experience in sales/services sales/after sales, preferably in the Marine industry;
  • Well-versed in developing and executing sales strategies and having a proven track record of over-achievement in your current or previous work capacity;
  • Strong data analytics skills, using both offline and online channels to grow sales;
  • Proactive, service-minded, strong in customer care, and taking quick actions;
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong customer focus, having the courage to take new initiatives and drive implementation.
