Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to join our team at Beca. As a Resident Engineer, you will be responsible for providing standing supervision and ensuring compliance with quality standards, designs, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Consultant team.
  • Witness all inspections, testing, and commissioning sessions performed by Sub-contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards, designs, and specifications.
  • Compile relevant equipment, material, inspection, and test certificates submitted by the contractors as required for the project records.
  • Ensure company safety rules are complied with.
  • Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Attend site meetings and perform site inspections.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university and registered with IES/ACES as a Resident Engineer.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer in precast high-rise residential building projects.
  • Experience in building projects, experience in HDB projects will be an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Preferably conversant with local codes and familiar with local authority's regulations and requirements.
