Job Title:

Electrical Specialist

Job Description:

The primary role of the Electrical Specialist is to ensure the safe and efficient installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems. This involves conducting pre-energization inspections, testing and startup of local and overseas equipment, and performing routine electrical maintenance on all equipment.

The successful candidate will have experience in field modification of equipment, equipment testing, commissioning, and start-up. Additionally, they will be responsible for managing projects, procuring materials, installing, testing, and commissioning activities. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with customers and vendors on technical and commercial aspects of the project.

Key responsibilities include attending and conducting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for switchgear and transformers, inspecting subcontractor work to ensure quality standards are met, and maintaining main switchboards, switchgear, control relay panels, DC chargers, and batteries.
