Job Title: Maintenance Operations Coordinator

The role of a Maintenance Operations Coordinator involves supervising and coordinating the activities of technicians, ensuring that all machine and equipment are well-maintained. The ideal candidate will be able to assist the Production Supervisor or planner in improving productivity and coordinate daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance activities. Additionally, they will develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, inspect facilities and equipment to identify necessary repairs, assign tasks, provide guidance and train new technicians, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, oversee inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, and coordinate with vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance work.

Requirements & Qualifications:
A diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred. Effective communication skills, particularly in Chinese, are essential as the role requires collaboration with Chinese staff members. Proven experience in maintenance supervision or a related field is required. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, excellent leadership and team management skills, ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently, strong communication and organizational skills, and flexibility to work varied hours including responding to emergencies are also necessary.
