About the Role
As a compassionate elderly care specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families. In this 3-month locum position, you will be responsible for performing social and financial assessments, providing counseling services, and leading family conferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough social and financial assessments of patients to identify areas of need and develop effective recommendations.
  • Provide empathetic counseling services to patients and their families, addressing their emotional and psychological needs.
  • Liaise with relevant organizations to facilitate collaboration and networking in elderly care.
  • Ensure the social needs of destitute patients are met through targeted support initiatives.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement groupwork programs for elderly patients or their caregivers.

Requirements and Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced medical social worker with a strong background in elderly care. Key requirements include:

  • Demonstrated expertise in social work and counseling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
