Cloud Security Specialist Role

The Cloud Security Specialist will be part of the Cyber Security department at KPMG Singapore, supporting clients in defining secure systems architectures using cloud security technologies, focusing on AWS, MS, and GCP.

This role involves collaborating with clients to identify cloud security opportunities, developing sales and pre-sales strategies, and providing specialist support to cyber security engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to identify and capitalize on cloud security opportunities.

• Develop and execute sales and pre-sales strategies for KPMG's cloud security offerings, managing client discussions and preparing commercial proposals.

• Build and maintain relationships with technology alliance partners to drive new business opportunities and leverage available programs.

• Drive client outreach initiatives and events for lead generation and brand awareness.

• Connect with the KPMG Asia Pacific Cyber network to drive new business opportunities, positioning KPMG Singapore as a Centre of Excellence for Cloud Security.

• Develop and deliver training enablement for technology alliance partners.

• Manage the opportunity pipeline, risk management process, and engagement contracting.

• Deliver sales commitments in collaboration with line partners.

• Collect security and functional requirements from clients and translate them into solution architectures, including high-level and low-level designs.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud security technologies, particularly MS, AWS, GCP, and 3rd party tools.

• Implement and configure cloud security technologies.

• Provide specialist support to cyber security engagements as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in supporting sales and/or technical pre-sales for Cloud Security.

• Strong IT background in systems architecture, systems security, systems management, and systems administration (minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in related industry).

• Experience in designing target system security architectures for cloud and hybrid systems.

• Intermediate and/or advanced certifications relating to MS, AWS, and GCP.

• Strong client and project management abilities, coupled with excellent communication, written, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
