What role will you play?

You will be responsible for the delivery of financial and regulatory reporting obligations of Macquarie Bank Limited, Singapore Branch to the MAS and other regulatory agencies as well as effective risk management of legal entities and compliance with the Group's financial control, data management and regulatory reporting frameworks. Leveraging your technical knowledge and expertise of regulatory rules and requirements, you will partner with the business to drive capital/liquidity efficiencies and provide advice and analysis on regulatory changes by keeping abreast of regulatory developments. You will also work with internal stakeholders to ensure data integrity and identify and drive automation, process improvement and efficiencies. You will lead projects and ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders and/or MAS including finance regulatory projects driven by regulatory change, internal business changes or new business activities; and liaising with external auditors to ensure successful completion of audits.

  • Accountancy or Finance degree and CA or CPA qualified
  • 10+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, financial control and/or legal entity control within a financial institution
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS based financial reporting and MAS regulatory reporting rules and requirements
  • Proven ability in driving process improvement and implementing changes arising from external regulatory change or internal products/systems
  • Knowledge and a passion for data governance and related controls in a regulatory reporting context
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven people leadership, developing and supporting a high performing team
