Our client is a major securities firm with established presence in the region. It is seeking to hire an AVP/VP, Market Risk.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to manage risks of all the trading activities as well as implementing a limit framework consistent with the bank's risk appetite. You will identify, measure, and report on market risk metrics, including Value-at-Risk (VaR), stress testing and scenario analysis. With a focus on Equity and Credit products, you will work closely with other support functions on market risk aspects of the banks' portfolio. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the development and enhancement of risk management systems and processes.
Requirements
You have strong academic qualifications and at least 5 years of market risk management in either investment banking or securities firm. You are technically proficient and have a good understanding of Equity and Credit products. You are able to articulate these ideas through your strong communication skills with traders, portfolio managers and other stakeholders. A self-driven individual, you enjoy working in an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
