Job Scope

  • Able to read the engineering drawings for sheet metal fabrication items and structural welding.
  • Follow the welding symbols stated in the drawing to complete the process
  • TIG/MIG/Fiber laser weld/Spot weld.
  • Welding and cutting metal parts using gas flame, or an electric arc and other sources of heat to melt and cut or to melt and fuse metal.
  • Machine maintenance and work place safety

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Highschool/ITE or certification course in welding.
