Work you'll do

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be involved in driving internal stakeholder and external client interactions, preparing and delivering workshops, developing events and programmes, and conducting and managing research:

Research and writing

  • Identify potential future disruptive trends to research and develop into Center for the Edge perspectives.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research on specific future disruptive trends.
  • Author blogs, research papers and develop other collateral on future disruptive trends.
  • Develop and manage Center for the Edge website and social media activities.

Programs and events

  • Support the Center's Principals in preparing materials and logistics for presentations and keynotes
  • Organize the Center's programs and events, including networking sessions, webinars, speaker series, and bespoke events.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with relevant external parties to co-create and co-deliver on programs and events.
  • Oversee the physical center
  • Support the team on other administrative and logistics tasks

Client interactions and workshops

  • Support the team in preparing for client interactions and workshops, including research and identifying client problems and opportunities that might benefit from Center for the Edge perspectives.
  • Convert Center for the Edge perspectives into client-ready collateral and support proposal efforts to engage clients.
  • Develop the Center for the Edge workshop offerings and collaborate with cross-functional teams in designing and delivering workshops for clients.
  • Source and manage new and existing relationships beyond transactional basis. A self-starter who initiates the search for interesting relationships to bring into the network is preferred.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor degree
  • Entry level candidates are welcome to apply
  • Independent, proactive and able to operate effectively in ambiguity
  • Ability to manage relationships across C-suite levels, innovators, start-ups, and businesses
  • A keen eye for noticing synergies at the intersection of stakeholders, businesses, and sectors
  • Proficiency with using AI tools such as ChatGPT
  • Hunger for learning and curiosity about the future of technology, business and society
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of design tools and an eye for visual design
  • Event management skills
