Job Summary:

. Assist in fulfilling the mission and vision of the Hospital.

. Embrace and practice the core values of the Hospital

. Perform care and counselling duties

. Involve in pastoral care (emotional and spiritual care) and Christian education

Responsibilities and Duties:

. Provide assessment, education, emotional/spiritual support, and post calls for family member/s at moderate to high risk of complicated grief

. Plan, develop and facilitate individual and/or group therapy

. Plan, develop and implement direct staff awareness and training programme for grief and bereavement

. Conduct pre and post assessment, track and evaluate programme outcomes

. Prepare and submit monthly programme reports

. Provide other administrative duties as deem necessary by Programme Head/Lead

Job Requirements:

. Minimum qualification of Degree in Theology and/or Degree in Counselling or equivalent.

. Minimum of 2-3years relevant working experience in pastoral care and counselling work, preferably from the healthcare industry.

. Strong interest in ministering to the elderly.

. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

. Ability to communicate in vernacular languages (in order to provide psychosocial assistance to vernacular languages speaking clients).

. Able to work independently and collaboratively with members of the interdisciplinary teams.
