Responsibilities:

  • To plan and carry out animal husbandry for animals under care
  • Review, prepare and deliver daily diets and nutritional requirements to animals under care
  • Coordinate animal medical procedures and movement of animals between locations
  • Supervise and maintain cleanliness of exhibits under care
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for new events, projects or activities

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in marine/ aquaculture/ bio-science
  • SCUBA certification (open water & above) and physically fit to dive
  • Confident to work in an aquatic environment
  • Work experience in animal husbandry for at least 3 years
  • Keen sense of observation (of animals)
  • Good leadership, project management & organizational skills
  • Good IT skills, knowledge of animal management software preferrable
