Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results.
  • Responsible for setup of Chemical Lab/Production, facilitate validation activities, and analytical method development
  • Conduct testing of environmental samples and suitability test of water
  • Conduct chemical analysis using recognized methodologies or guidelines, as well as ICP, TOC, IC, FTIR, UV_VIS instrumentation.
  • Ensure reagents preparation, QA/QC and test methods comply with requirements.
  • Upkeep lab equipment calibration, maintenance, and verification for lab quality management compliance.
  • Perform sampling & on-site testing when required and maintain good housekeeping, Lab Safety Management and Chemical Inventory management.
  • Provide documented procedures on buyoff on new/transfer Machine/equipment prior to mass production release.
  • Develop chemical Process Parameters and Process Controls for production.
  • Need to carry out other production activities as required.
  • Positively relate and contribute to a multicultural working environment while solving technical issues related to both client and operational queries in a timely fashion and able to discharge duties with a strong awareness of timeline, and resource management for designated projects
  • Influence technical and management teams, motivate team members, delegate, drive and make timely/quality decision , while demonstrating technical and operational skills that include customer focus commitment to safety, quality management and influencing skills including negotiation and teamwork
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and specifications and articulate and discuss these with both external clients and operations
  • Responsible for implementation of manufacturing execution system, and using data analytics to identify trends, recognizing problem scenarios, and recommending countermeasures
  • Monitor effectiveness of investigations, ensure actions are implemented and assess trends to identify improvements in methods
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Superior.
  • Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety abide by all EHS policies and procedures cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives.

Requirement:

  • Min Diploma / Degree in Bio-Technology / Bio Chemistry / Molecular Biology or equivalent
  • Min 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in using equipment Example: ICP, TOC, IC, FTIR is an added advantage
  • Able to analyse and compile testing data from the tests performedtion
