Manager, ITSS

The staff will support daily network security operations, implement solutions in an enterprise network infrastructure, and participate in network-related audit activities. Additionally, they will be involved in the full spectrum of project activities, including technical design, Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), project management, engineering & integration, and acceptance testing & commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Support daily network security operations.

• Be involved in the full spectrum of project activities, including technical design, Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), project management, engineering & integration, and acceptance testing & commissioning.
• Liaise with all relevant internal and external parties to ensure timely completion and implementation of projects in line with requirements, schedule, and budget.

Scope:

• Deploy, configure, monitor, and manage network/network security devices.
• Provide 2nd level technical support, develop designs, and customize solutions to meet business and/or users' requirements.
• Fulfil network security-related service requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues and incidents.
• Manage/work with external vendors to resolve escalated issues/incidents.
• Manage network/network security-related projects to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Conduct software security and vulnerability patching on network security-related devices.
• Participate/support in network-related audits, provision security audit artifacts, and remediate audit findings.
• Provide after-hours support when required.
• Collaborate with executive management and department leaders to assess network capacity needs.
• Create and maintain documentation of network configuration, network diagram, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Proactively discover and remediate deficiencies in network solutions.
• Participate in and lead problem resolution and cause analysis.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
• Conduct research on network/network security products, services, protocols, and standards.
• Manage network assets, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation.
• Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Relevant Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
• Network certification (CCNA/CCNP) is mandatory.
• Security certification (Palo Alto Networks PCNSE/Checkpoints CCSA/Fortinet NSE 4) will be an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of strong experience with in-depth hands-on in Next-Generation Firewall, IDS/IPS, Cisco ISE, NAC, VPN, and Firewall Auditing tools.
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN & Wireless, switching & routing technologies, MPLS, IPv6, Multicast, L3VPN, DNS/DHCP is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in SDN, Cloud (AWS and Azure) & Network Automation will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in a multitasking, fast-paced, and complex work environment.
• Ability to work as a team and independently with minimum supervision.
