Singapore Krypton Fund Services (singapore) Pte. Ltd. Full time

Krypton Fund Services is a global fund administration company seeking individuals that are flexible, professionally minded, and committed. We provide a full suite of services to the global alternative investment community through technical expertise and a high-touch service model. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills and will be responsible for timely service delivery to clients and management of a team.

The role will include all facets of fund administration on a variety of hedge funds, and require the individual to understand and apply current accounting standards principles to the computation of the NAV of funds.

Fund Accountant

Singapore

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Providing a full range of fund accounting services to clients, including preparation of the Net Asset Value (NAV), cash and position reconciliation, review of corporate actions, validation of security pricing
  • Provide a complete range of fund administration services to clients and investors in compliance with the company's service model and policies, liaising with investment managers, brokers, custodians and auditors
  • Provide and maintain superior customer relationships with clients
  • Participate in various system optimisation initiatives and ad-hoc projects
  • Calculate complex fees structures as set out in various agreements
  • Prepare periodic financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and/or US GAAP
  • Process Subscriptions and Redemptions, Switches & Transfers in accordance with the guidelines outlined in the fund offering documents.
  • Initiate wire and account transfer transactions through various internet banking platforms to settle redemptions, subscription money movements etc.
  • Maintain and remediate investor details in a centralised database
  • Supporting the company's anti-money laundering (AML) framework in place globally and working closely with the team to ensure compliance with the AML framework
  • Supporting the organization's FATCA/CRS service offering to our clients
  • Demonstrate ownership of assigned work and ensure timely completion, in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Applicants must possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, banking or finance related field
  • Ideally 1 year of experience in fund administration or similar role
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Understanding of securities such as equities, bonds, forwards, futures, options preferred
  • Ability to work well independently as well as within a team framework
  • Be enthusiastic and eager to learn, self-starter
  • Strong work ethic with positive attitude
  • Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision to meet deadlines
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skill
