Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Researcher (Impact & Program Development) to work onsite in Singapore. As a Researcher (Impact & Program Development), you will be responsible for managing and implementing the impact assessment and program development activities for the organization. The successful candidate will design and execute research projects to evaluate program effectiveness, impact, and outcomes. The Researcher will also work collaboratively with other teams to ensure quality control and program sustainability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Purpose of Job

  • Manage and contribute to a portfolio of projects, including pilot programs, program design, monitoring, and evaluation, to improve program effectiveness and client outcomes.
  • Provide project management and develop indicators for monitoring, evaluation and implementation support for research initiatives.
  • Perform research, analyse data, and offer insights that guide our service delivery and improve the overall impact and efficiency of our programs and services.

Key responsibility areas

Research

  • Design and evaluate pilot projects with stakeholders to assess program outcome impact.
  • Collect and compile relevant data, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups, to gather insights.
  • Analyse research data using statistical tools and software to identify trends, correlations, and critical findings.
  • Assess the effectiveness of programs and services, making recommendations for improvement and adaptation.

External Stakeholder Liaison

  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and community members to ensure the successful execution of research projects.

Requirements

  • A good degree and above in social work, psychology, or related fields, preferably with at least two years of relevant prior experience in program evaluation, impact assessment, or applied research is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the social service sector would be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of research methodologies and implementation of research protocols
  • Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and presentation skills
  • Strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (such as SPSS, R, and STATA) and Microsoft Office Suite
