Mixologist (OHS)

The Orchard Singapore, a member of Millennium & Copthorne International - a dynamic, global hotel group with properties in major gateway cities and operating more than 160 hotels worldwide, is looking for passionate and service-oriented individuals for the following position: -

Mixologist

Reporting to the Beverage Manager, the incumbent shall be responsible to: -

• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages
• Develop beverage menu and recipe cards for alcohol and non-alcohol beverages
• Restock and replenishes bar supplies
• Ensure proper ordering, daily inventory and the monthly stock count is performed
• Provide support and work closely with team members
• Assist in the efficiency and cost-effective functioning of the outlet
• Attain and exceed the pre-determined budgeted revenue for the department through the provision of efficient service and aggressive up-selling
• Ensure the quality standards are maintained during peak times of business in the department
• Correct revenue charging and appropriation for department via the P.O.S. machine. This encompasses control of guest checks, voids, new item input and closing reports
• Assess the needs and preference of guests and suggest recommendations
• Propose operation changes and improvements that will increase potential profit and decrease loss to the Food and Beverage Department
• Ensure standards of health, safety, cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in all areas of outlet area through regular inspection and coaching
• Any other duties as required Beverage Manager

Requirements

• At least 1 to 2 years of work experience in a similar capacity in the hotel industry.
• Energetic, proactive, self-driven, highly motivated and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adaptable, determined and someone who wants to be on a fast-paced environment that promotes changes and drive for achievements.
• Possess superior negotiation skills and a Will-to-Win mindset.
